Is a spirit the same as a ghost?

A ghost is sometimes an imprint of a scene taken in times-gone-by which is etched into the time frame of life. A ghost appears as it was in its time period and more often than not is totally unaware that you are there. They can sometimes return to re-enact a moment in time, which to them was memorable for either a good or bad reason.

A spirit is an earth energy that has returned to the spirit world and decides to make contact with a living energy, i.e a loved one and can come back to visit for many reasons, primarily to let them know that they are safe and well, but at the end of the day both spirit and ghosts can be good or bad.

What is the difference between Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience?

Clairvoyance means clear seeing, which means that you can see the spirit person or energy in a form that is recognisable to you, enabling you to describe the person you are seeing in greater detail.

Clairaudiencemeans that you can clearly hear the person you are connecting to and that their accent and tone of voice is clearly audible when they talk.

Clairsentience means you can sense the person connecting to you and you are able to feel a great range of emotion they are feeling, ranging from very sad to very happy. It is, however, very hard to sometimes put an emotion into words and clearly what one person feels is different to another, so when sensing spirit you have to understand their emotion to a situation, not yours, this is vital.

How do you know you’re psychic?

Everybody is psychic to some degree whether they want to be or not, some people are natural psychics and are aware of their gifts at a young age which they blend with their lives and personalities with ease. Other people who wish to improve their gifts generally have to sit in circle. First, open circle and then, when invited, a closed circle. This helps them to use, balance and develop their abilities in a safe environment, learning to deal with only good energies rather than negative.

If everyone is psychic how come I don’t see ghosts floating around?

Not everyone is clairvoyant, so not everyone can SEE spirit and even practised mediums generally have to be tuned into the spirit world in order to see spirits. Ghosts dont just float around all over the place, there generally is purpose for them appearing in any certain given time and place.

How can I improve my psychic skills?

Correct intuition is the most important skill to learn and being a student who listens to what is being taught to them, rather than them just assuming that they can do it is vital. Going to psychic school, teaches you everything from psychic etiquette, the history of spiritualism and how to work on a
platform, if that is your desire. You learn to work in a safe environment with the help of your tutor who is always in control of the circle.

You start off in an open circle these can be found on the board of your local spiritualist church, some even advertise in your local paper. You pay a small weekly fee and sit amongst sensitives of all levels. Not everyone wishes to have to the gifts you have or to even use them in the same way, so mutual respect for fellow students is imperative. Commitment is also important in showing spirit you are willing to learn and agreeing to sit regularly at the same time every week is good dedication, so only commence a circle if you are willing to be commited.

In time you may be asked to sit in a closed circle and this is normally by invitation only. Once again most circles sit once a week and this is generally a much smaller circle than open. You learn with more like minded people and more often that not it can concentrate on one particular area, such as trance or physical for example.

How does spirit communicate with you?

When you are ready to work spirit will let you know. Remembering that you are in control at all times is very important and you only work on your terms and when you are ready. Knowing your spiritual team network helps you to have a balanced and healthy spiritual pathway, working with only white light spirits.

One room in my house is really cold, do you think it’s haunted?

There are several reasons why a room can be cold and firstly you must rule out all of the obvious and be sceptical until you know otherwise. When you have determined that there is no common explanation, you can look into the fact you may have spirit in your house. You should then call in a professional who can either connect with the spirit and find out what they want or banish it from you house if it is not a good spirit. Under no circumstances must you connect with these spirits under your own volition as you may awaken dark or negative energies which can wreak havoc on your life, even outside the house.

What are tarot and angel cards? How do they work?

Both tarot and angel cards are really no more than a tool for the medium to concentrate on whilst giving you your reading. An ordinary pack of playing cards can give an equally accurate reading as expensive and ornate packs. If you are psychic, which means you read peoples energies and auras, these may give you information on your life and events, rather than connecting with the spirit world. Especially in these cases cards are a useful guidance tool, with which spirit can communicate with the person receiving the reading.

Tarot cards should only be read by a person who knows what they are doing as they can have a rather dark and negative side if you don't know your
suits or layouts 100% you can end up giving someone the wrong reading which may have a darker tone than it should have.

Angel cards are a much more positive divination tool and they are generally prettier and are more self explanatory and tend to be easier to read and understand for the beginner then tarot.

Why do you always light a candle at your events?

I always light a white candle at my events as it is a good way to attract spirit and positive energy into the room. A white candle is the most positive colour to use, red or black candles may attract a lower level of spirit. Lighting a candle can also clear the room or any unwanted energies allowing the positive chi to flow.

Do I have a spirit guide?

Everyone has a spirit guide, from the tramp on the street to the queen these can vary throughout our life, although we tend to have just one or two main guides who help us. Learning who our guides are can be a very important part of our development although identifying them in detail does not matter and if you cannot find their name or information about them, don't worry. Just so long as you know you have protection from spirit, defending you all the time.
